YES this is a stroller friendly race..
Can I bring my dog?
Friendly Dogs on a leash are allowed. We even have a Doggie Tent with Water, Treats, and Shade.
Will there be port-a-potties and hydration stations on the course?
YES we will have port-a-potties and hydration all along the 5k, 10k, and half marathon course.
In prior years, when I ran the race, I was able to use the locker room showers after the race. Will we be able to use the facilities as in previous years?
Absolutely, yes! The men’s and women’s locker rooms will be open for the race with showers and bathrooms. We will also have port-a-potties and hand sinks out on the grounds.
What are the race fees?
The kids ½ mile is free. The 5k race is $20. The 10k race is $30. The Half-Marathon is $40. After 6/10, the race fee will increase by $5 each race.
Does the race fee include the shirt?
No, the commemorative 25th shirt is available for an additional $15. Shirts will also be for sale on race day.
Do Seniors over 70+ and Veterans run/walk for free?
Yes, absolutely. Come on out.
Are their medals for awards?
No medals. For the kid’s race, trophies are awarded for first, second, and third in age groups plus an overall big trophy for girls and boys. The 5k, 10k, and half-marathon awards are one of a kind handcrafted in the Skagit Valley for the March Point Run from Sauk Mountain Pottery. Each award is unique, stamped with the name and year of the race and fired in a wood-firing kiln using waste wood from local shake and shingle industry. Awards are given per age group for first, second, and third placement, overall and masters.
